- A Sheriff's deputy in New Hanover County, North Carolina was fired after allegedly shooting his Taser at a Duke Energy Progress utility worker on Oct. 31.
- The deputy, Reed Roberts, was waiting for the utility worker to restore power to his home when an altercation between the worker and Roberts resulted in the police officer firing his Taser.
- It's not clear whether the worker was hurt. Duke Energy Progress did not return WWAY News Channel 3's call for comment.

Disgruntled customers are nothing new to utility workers, especially when it comes to power outages. But sometimes utility workers get a little crazy themselves, as was the case with this LIPA employee who got caught urinating on a disgruntled customer's home.
