Job Description

This is TEMPORARY and a contractor position with no current plans to transition to a full-time role.

At Urbint, our mission is to create safer and more resilient communities using AI. We are passionate about taking data about our changing world – from climate, to urbanization, to infrastructure risk – and harnessing it to allow utilities and infrastructure operators to predict and prevent threats and meaningfully reduce field risk. We are a tight-knit team of coders, data scientists, infrastructure experts, entrepreneurs, and creatives working together to create and deliver cutting-edge technology to deliver insights that keep people safe.

What You’ll Do

You will report to Urbint’s Worker Safety Product Owner and be responsible for developing accurate, detailed Electric transmission and distribution construction work breakdown structures that will serve as a basis for Urbint’s AI-enabled, safety risk models. You will use your knowledge and expertise to inventory all major T&D capital construction job types and the associated work tasks, including the compatible units, that comprise each job. You will help Urbint data engineers and data scientists understand the ‘real world’ context of each job and the associated work tasks, which will help us develop our models. You will work with the Urbint team and lead safety researcher(s) to assign potential injury severity levels for each work task, levering a simple, yet proprietary framework.

We're an equal opportunity employer. All applicants will be considered for employment without attention to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, veteran or disability status.
