Political Success Lies in Grassroots

The national group that represents electric co-ops has a message about looking out for your interests in Washington: People trump money.

That what’s three congressional experts told the 2012 Grassroots Summit and Legislative Conference.NRECA CEO Glenn English.

Glenn English, a former 10-term congressman, is now CEO of the National Rural Electric Cooperative Association. Former U.S. Rep. Martin Frost, D-Texas and former U.S. Rep. Tom Davis, R-Va., joined English in a panel discussion titled, “When I Feel the Heat, I See the Light: Thoughts from Former Members of Congress.”
