Software Is for In-Depth Testing of Protective Relays

RelayLabTest enables users to assess the overall performance of protection devices under realistic operating conditions.

The manufacturer, OMICRON, says it RelayLabTest is easy to use and requires no special simulation or programming skills.

The package complies with the requirements for simulation tests according to the future standard IEC 60255-121 for distance protection devices.

The company is playing the software as "ideal for manufacturers and utilities" because it "offers unique modeling and test automation features."
