2017 marks the quinquennium for the New York Energy Week annual event series, set for June 19-23, eyeing the impact innovators have on the future of the energy industry.
EnerKnol today announced the fifth annual New York Energy Week, taking place this June 19 - 23, 2017. Members of the energy community are invited to attend a full week of highly curated industry events to showcase the achievements and the challenges of the industry in the largest annual week-long series, “By the industry, for the industry.”
“I look forward to New York Energy Week 2017, to meet an influential group of industry leaders and to discuss the collective experience that will continue to propel momentum forward. Energy as a resource; Energy as the moral to the story,” said New York Times Best-Selling Author of Creating Climate Wealth and Co-Founder of Generate Capital, Jigar Shah, a New York Energy Week Keynote Speaker.
Earlier this month, New York Energy Week announced a Call for Nominations for the NYEW Top Five Energy Leader Awards to mark the fifth anniversary of uniting the global energy community in one of the most vibrant cities in the world. New York Energy Week 2017 will place a special focus on energy's changemakers -- those leaders who have made the strongest contributions to the New York Energy Week community over the past five years. Tuesday through Thursday morning and evening sessions will feature global leaders including ABB Enterprise Software and also feature New York State thought leadership from that of Jeffrey Sachs, NYSERDA, and the NYC Mayor's Office.
