(Washington, D.C., March 12, 2018)—The AABC Commissioning Group (ACG) will conduct a workshop and exam for its Commissioning Authority Certification (CxA) on April 23-24, 2018 in Las Vegas, NV in conjunction with the CxEnergy 2018 Conference & Expo.

This highly interactive workshop includes many small-group breakout activities, where attendees will use project case studies to develop and discuss samples of key commissioning deliverables.  The CxA exam is a 4-hour, closed-book exam that tests approved candidates on their knowledge of the commissioning process, as well as a general understanding of building systems and how commissioning fits in with the rest of the construction process.

CxEnergy is the premier event for building energy management and commissioning. Its technical program provides AIA continuing education credits for the CxA, EMP, LEED and other certifications. Attendees of the CxA Workshop will earn 12 AIA LU continuing education credits.
