Inman Solar is pleased to announce the acquisition of six solar projects in Georgia, all expected to reach commercial operation in late 2026. This milestone reflects the most recent collaboration between Inman and SolAmerica Energy, whose shared commitment to advancing high quality distributed energy assets in the state made the transaction both efficient and mutually beneficial. The energy and renewable attributes from these projects will be sold to Georgia Power as part of the utility’s Georgia Public Service Commission approved 2024 DG RFP solar program.
“We’re excited to add these projects to our growing Georgia portfolio and appreciate the opportunity brought to us by the experienced team at SolAmerica,” said Otso Lehmussaari, Vice President of Inman Solar. “This acquisition underscores our long-term dedication to delivering high-quality, reliable solar projects in our home state.”
"SolAmerica Energy is excited to partner with Inman to bring more clean, renewable energy to our home state of Georgia," said John Buffington, SolAmerica's VP of Business Development. "Inman's team has been great to work with and we look forward to potential future collaboration."
This addition advances Inman's leadership in Georgia's distributed generation solar market. Inman Solar extends its appreciation to the Georgia Public Service Commission and Georgia Power Company for their continued leadership in enabling robust renewable-energy procurement programs that make projects like these possible.
