AEE Recognizes Bluestone for Energy-Efficiency Retrofit

The Association of Energy Engineers (AEE) has recognized Bluestone Energy's energy-efficiency project for the Stop & Shop Supermarket Co. as the Best Multisite Retail Energy Program in New England.

The project has been recognized for its implementation of a range of comprehensive energy improvements, as well as its quick payback period and energy savings benefits.

The project included installing electronically commutated motors and replacing lighting fixtures with energy-efficient LEDs, which produced a savings of 46 million kilowatt hours over four years.
