The Kuwait Ministry of Electricity and Water has chosen Alstom Grid to further modernize the nation’s grid operations and implement a fully integrated grid-management solution.
The project will include upgrading the Kuwait town district control center's energy management system, a new integrated distribution management system and an asset management system.
Alstom said it will use its e-terraplatform and e-terradistribution solutions, to create a single system for managing the medium- and high-voltage operations at the coctrol Center.
