Black Hills Energy - Colorado Electric has chosen Black & Veatch to provide detailed design engineering services, including generation, collection and interconnection, for the Busch Ranch Wind Project, Black Hills' first wind development in Colorado.
The 29 MW project is a significant component of the Black Hills' plan to reach Colorado's renewable energy standard of 30 percent by 2020. The 16-turbine project is expected to be completed in December.
