Energy developer Joule Africa and the government of the Republic of Cameroon entered into a memorandum of understanding for the development of the Kpep Hydroelectric Project, an undertaking that will increase the country's current installed power generation capacity by at least 40 percent. When completed, the project is expected to have an installed capacity of more than 450 MW.
