Three electric cooperatives are among 10 recipients of Department of Agriculture grants aimed at helping hundreds of rural small businesses and farms improve energy efficiency and employ renewable energy.
The money comes from the Rural Energy for America Program, which was authorized in the 2008 Farm Bill.
