The Power Matters Alliance (PMA), an IEEE Standards Association (IEEE-SA) Industry Connections program, has officially launched and is accepting new members.
The PMA is an alliance of leading industry and governmental organizations dedicated to advancing smart and energy-efficient wireless power, known as Power 2.0 or the Internet of electricity.
Power 2.0 is about linking power, information, and energy-efficient solutions utilizing direct current to enable and optimize a new approach to power. PMA will build on existing wireless power technologies to develop the suite of standards that will be needed to provide advanced wireless power at home and remotely.
