National Rural Electric Cooperative Association organizers are putting together the final program for the 2012 Grassroots Summit, a conference that CEO Glenn English calls critical to the future success of the electric cooperative movement.
The April 29-May 2 summit is designed to help mobilize the nation's 42 million co-op members on behalf of policies that promote a reliable and affordable supply of electricity.
English said the summit will provide co-op managers, directors and staffers with the tools they need to engage their members.
