- Oklahoma Gas & Electric (OG&E) has won the Edison Electric Institute's (EEI) 2013 Edison Award for successfully implementing the SmartHours demand response program, which achieved an average peak reduction of 2.02 kW per home across 40,000 homes.
- Now in its second year, the program has partnered with Silver Spring Networks and others to reduce peak power.
