Public Service Electric & Gas Company (PSE&G) has begun installing LED lights that increase reliability and security, are environmentally friendly, and decrease light pollution.
The first LED light fixture installations have been completed at Montclair State University, United Water in Haworth and in New Brunswick on George Street between Bayard and Liberty streets.
The Rutgers University Newark campus is undergoing installations.
The new lighting is available to municipalities and for commercial customers throughout the utility’s service territory.
