About a dozen construction workers have settled lawsuits filed for injuries they suffered in the massive 2010 explosion that destroyed the Kleen Energy power plant in Middletown, Conn., according to participants in the confidential settlements.
The power plant, which was nearing completion, blew up in a natural gas fireball that could be seen and heard for miles.
