Petroperú will implement Open Smartflex on the cloud

MIAMI —

Petroperú, a state-owned company that delivers natural gas to the southern Peruvian region, will manage its business processes with Open International’s holistic CIS solution, Open Smartflex, under an IaaS model.

 

July 2021. Open International is pleased to announce that it has signed an agreement with Petroperú, a Peruvian company in charge of natural gas distribution in the cities of Arequipa, Moquegua, Ilo and Tacna, to support its billing, collection, sales, and customer service processes with Open Smartflex.

In this regard, Irene Cueva, Head of Customer Service and Systems of Petroperú's Natural Gas Management, commented, "We selected Open Smartflex under an IaaS model because we believe that Open offers us the necessary support to venture into the cloud successfully, guaranteeing the technological evolution of the solution and compliance with required service levels."

With Open Smartflex, Petroperú will be able to take advantage of a software solution that will allow it to unify the commercial and operational management of its three service areas in a single system. This will provide the Peruvian company a 360° view of its customers, as well as online information, updated in real time and with 24/7 availability.
