Greenville Utilities Commission (GUC) received the 2024 OUUG Customer Excellence Award for its recent outstanding Oracle Customer Cloud Service (CCS) implementation at the recent Oracle Utilities User Group Conference in Austin, Texas. GUC's Andy Anderson, Becky Pope, Brian Weigand & Elizabeth Sharp were honored for the Oracle Customer Cloud Service (CCS) Go-Live.
Greenville Utilities Commission (GUC) provides essential services in North Carolina, serving Greenville and Pitt County with electric, water, sewer, natural gas, and more. Partnering with TMG, GUC successfully modernized its systems, transitioning from outdated Oracle systems (CC&B, WAM, MWM) to Oracle Customer Cloud Service (CCS) integrated with Cityworks. This strategic move achieved significant cost savings, enhanced customer service capabilities, and ensured GUC's infrastructure was well-positioned for future advancements like Advanced Meter Infrastructure (AMI). “TMG proved themselves to be a worthy and trusted partner. The CC&B to CCS project was meticulously planned and managed from initial engagement through post-go-live support. TMG brought a talented team to the project and worked diligently to align them with our internal resources, thereby creating the synergy necessary to be successful with a project of this scope and scale,” stated Andy Anderson, GUC Director of Information Technology
The implementation of Oracle CCS marks a significant milestone for GUC. TMG is proud to have played a vital role as the system integrator, on time and under budget. "We are happy to have been a part of the successful implementation of CCS at GUC. This milestone marks a culmination of diligent teamwork, unwavering dedication, and innovative solutions. GUC’s satisfaction and the seamless integration of this system underscore TMG’s commitment to delivering excellence in utility solutions," added Pam Glanvill, President at TMG, an RIA company.
