Geenex Advances Nuclear Development Strategy with Key Leadership Hires

Geenex today announced the addition of Chris Hallameyer as Director of External Affairs and Delany Bolton as Manager of Project Development, further strengthening the company's growing nuclear energy development team.

The appointments mark the latest step in Geenex's nuclear energy strategy following the company's announcement earlier this year that it would pursue opportunities to develop advanced nuclear energy projects across the PJM region. As demand for reliable, around-the-clock electricity continues to rise, Geenex is investing in the talent and expertise necessary to responsibly advance the next generation of nuclear energy projects.

Both Hallameyer and Bolton bring extensive experience from the U.S. Navy's nuclear propulsion program, one of the nation's most rigorous technical and leadership training environments. Their backgrounds in nuclear operations, safety, compliance, and mission-critical project execution will support Geenex's efforts to advance nuclear projects that can help meet the region's growing energy needs. 

As Director of External Affairs, Hallameyer will lead engagement efforts with local stakeholders, elected officials, and community leaders, helping ensure transparency throughout the development process. He will be responsible for building and maintaining key relationships while providing factual, timely updates on project development progress.

Hallameyer joins Geenex with leadership experience spanning nuclear operations, safety, compliance, aerospace, defense, and industrial manufacturing. His career includes senior operational leadership roles with Virgin Orbit and CIRCOR Aerospace & Defense, as well as service in the U.S. Navy as a nuclear propulsion plant operator and the Naval Reactors Representative Office (NRRO), providing oversight of nuclear operations, construction, maintenance, safety, quality assurance, and compliance activities within the Naval Nuclear Propulsion Program. He holds a master's degree in Homeland Security from Thomas Edison State University.

As Manager of Project Development, Bolton will oversee project permitting and development activities, leading site permit application processes at the local, state, and federal levels. Her work will be instrumental in advancing projects through critical regulatory and development milestones.

A former U.S. Navy submarine officer and electrical engineer, Bolton served aboard the USS North Carolina (SSN-777), where she held leadership positions in operations, quality assurance, safety, and radiological controls. She also earned qualification as a Naval Reactors Nuclear Engineer and later served as a Safety/Operations Officer with Submarine Squadron One in Pearl Harbor. Bolton holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Notre Dame.

With Hallameyer leading stakeholder engagement efforts and Bolton overseeing development and permitting activities, Geenex is strengthening two critical capabilities required for successful nuclear project development: community partnership and regulatory execution.
