In New Jersey, North America's largest rooftop solar power plant has been completed and is supplying up to 80 percent of Gloucester Marine Terminal's power demand.
The terminal received $11 million in tax credit rebates, under the Section 1603 program, from the U.S. Department of the Treasury.
In total, the project cost $42 million and consists of 27,526 photovoltaic rooftop solar panels covering 1.1 million square foot of rooftop.
