What utilities can learn from SRP and SMUD

  • The Institute for Energy and the Environment at Vermont Law has been studying smart-grid implementations nationally.
  • One part of the project looked at the Salt River Project (SRP) and Sacramento Municipal Utility District (SMUD).
  • The two utilities are similar in  strong leadership to implement projects, but they have focused on different pieces of the smart-grid puzzle, the school found.
