Ameren Corp. has selected EMC Symmetrix VMAX to manage its explosive data growth (100 terabytes of data each year) in a private cloud environment.
Ameren's benchmarking studies have shown that they have saved 28 percent on power and cooling costs, seen 30 percent in increased performance and reduced capital expenses by 50 percent.
