- The Charlotte, N.C.-based Duke Energy Corp. announced Thursday the election of its new board chair. Make that chairwoman.
- The board unanimously elected Ann Maynard Gray as the new chairwoman of its board. She will work alongside Duke’s incoming CEO, Lynn Good, also serving as vice chairwoman.
- Gray will succeed Duke’s current chairman and CEO Jim Rogers who retires Dec. 31 and passes the CEO baton to Lynn Good July 1.
