Robert Walton has spent 15 years covering policy, regulation and business in Washington, D.C., with a focus on the natural gas and electric utility. In addition to a journalism degree from the University of South Carolina, he has a culinary diploma from the Art Institute of Washington and his documentary photography has been supported by the National Endowment of the Arts. Robert left Washington in 2013 to explore the United States, and now lives in a tiny off-grid cabin in upstate New York. His exact location is a mystery.
